Responsible for leading and managing sustainability staff engagement and strategic communications projects across the Lower Mainland health organizations of Fraser Health, Providence, PHSA and VCH. This included managing the GreenCare network, the Green+Leaders volunteer program, and supporting her team with various communications and engagement activities. A Prosci change management practitioner, supporting staff at all levels in health care to implement sustainability projects and drive culture change through coaching and funding support.Building relationships with internal and external stakeholders to advance sustainability in health-care, and drive policy change at the leadership level.

Developed research and outreach strategies in order to identify world class executive talent for global clients. Executed international executive search assignments with a broad range of clients within the commercial, public, and not-for-profit sectors in C-suite, executive and senior level roles across all major functions. She was a Co-Lead of the Panorama Search Global Conference Committee, inclusive of 23 boutique search firms globally.

Responsible for overall internal and external audience engagement for the development, implementation and evaluation of communications and public/stakeholder engagement strategies, plans, initiatives, and materials. Resourceful, creative, and stakeholder-focused, capable of seeing the big picture and yet not shy about rolling up her sleeves to work shoulder-to-shoulder with team members to implement tactics and meet project deadlines. Managed social media platforms and scheduled posts, as well as overseeing all graphic design materials and liaising with external contractors. Worked often with the Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop)

Responsible for inspiring alumni participation and engagement, as well as managing and overseeing major alumni events (150+ delegates). Stewarded meaningful and long lasting alumni (and donor) relationships, oversaw all website communications and e-newsletter content and collaborated closely with her development colleagues. Sarah managed one full-time staff member, the Alumni Relations Coordinator.

Working closely with her Executive Director and Board of Directors, Sarah was responsible for overseeing all communications and engagement activities for Heritage BC, which included membership communications, event planning and marketing, website management and social media. Sarah managed high-level human resource duties, implemented and improved organizational processes and procedures and managed all accounts payables and receivables.

For four years, Sarah managed a series of projects related to sustainable tourism, landscape conservation and community engagement across three Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Sarah was responsible for overseeing all fundraising functions of each project, including securing funding, managing budgets, managing workers and volunteers, organizing fundraising and outreach events and grant-writing.
