About Sejun Kim
As a research scientist and AI software solutions architect at Intel Corporation, I have eight years of experience in developing cutting-edge solutions for homomorphic encryption and privacy-preserving machine learning. I hold a PhD in Computer Engineering from the University of Missouri-Rolla and have multiple patents and publications in this field.Currently I lead the development of SDK and validation tool for Intel HERACLES, a fully homomorphic encryption accelerator. Previously, I was the project lead of Intel Paillier Cryptosystem Library, the world first ISO18033-6 compliant open source Paillier cryptoscheme library for Intel hardware, as well as the Intel HEXL, an open-source math-lattice library for accelerating NTT computation with AVX512 instructions. I also contributed to Intel HE-Toolkit, a library of proof of concept samples and benchmarks for homomorphic encryption applications. My mission is to enable secure and efficient computation on encrypted data for various domains, such as healthcare, finance, and education.
