Sandra main activity was the transition from “research” like software with no documentation till a modular, maintainable software package. In this role she delivered this software, quickly, independent and with high quality. The software base was well designed and documented. An example is that successor quickly could use and work on the software, while he did not know anything of the product beforehand. Besides this successful delivery, she took the role of organizing the software and challenging the team (us) to come with more specific requirements, features and customer stories. An example of ownership was when see had to transfer the knowledge towards her successor; Sandra clearly took the lead and making sure that everything was transferred, which was not hers, but my responsibility. This indicates the dedication to delivery something finished and making sure it can and will be used. I enjoyed working with Sandra and after a period of settling she showed listening skills, ownership, quality, ambition, openness and was able to really make her mark in our development and took the responsibility of the software part of the project as an architect."
