In collaboration with Human Resources and agency stakeholders, develop a comprehensive professional development strategy for internal Open Sky employees and the broader community via the Training Institute.Direct The Bridge Training Institute, providing professional development and continuing education opportunities across mental health provider disciplines. This includes: planning programming in partnership with with expert trainers, partnering with community providers, school systems and state agencies to provide high quality, individualized training in evidence based and best practices, and teaching workshops on multiple topics, including Motivational Interviewing, Harm Reduction, and CBT.Using process improvement strategies and outcomes data, evaluate effectiveness of professional development activities.Serve as a lead trainer on topics including Motivational Interviewing.Develop new opportunities that expand the reach of Open Sky's clinical expertise, and support the dissemination of evidence based pratices, including maintaining fidelity while adapting to unique practice settings.

Develop, implement and oversee models for the provision of clinical services for individuals with both mental health and substance use challenges, informed by the Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment (IDDT) model.Provide clinical supervision to practitioners providing integrated services for mental health and substance use, including master's level clinicians and para-professionals.Develop and implement training program for staff on substance use and integrated treatment issues, including serving as a trainer on: General knowledge of substance use and substance use disorder, tobacco cessation, harm reduction, Motivational interviewing, stage of change and stage of treatment assessment and intervention matching, and QPR Gatekeeper suicide prevention.Oversee the collection of outcomes of interventions to provide continuous quality assurance and clinical feedback to programs and providers.Assess fidelity/dual diagnosis capability in programs through the agency via the DDC-MHT assessment.Provide direct clinical services, including individual and group therapy, to individuals with co-occurring disorders, using evidence based treatment models, including: Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Restructuring for PTSD, CBT for Symptoms of Psychosis, Seeking Safety, IMR, Brief Treatment for Substance Use, and CBT for Substance Use.Provide clinical consultation to programs and clinicians on working with individuals with co-occurring disorders.Consult with outside agencies on the implementation of evidence based practices related to dual diagnosis services.Promote a dual recovery oriented approach throughout the agency.

Oversee provision of Illness Management and Recovery services in a variety of residential and supported housing settings for individuals ranging in age from adolescents to older adults through direct provision of group therapy, ongoing clinical supervision, consultation, training and technical supportManage the collection and use of outcome measures for programs employing IMR model, including using outcomes data to guide program improvementsAssist in assessing fidelity to the evidenced-based model to ensure provision of consistent, quality services throughout the agency Provide comprehensive training in IMR model to all program staffPromote a recovery oriented approach to conceptualizing and treating mental illness throughout the agencyWork with external agencies to implement IMR in a variety of settings, including both group and individual therapyCo-chair agency-wide committee on implementation of improved dual-diagnosis services for individuals with both mental illness and substance abuse challengesProvide individual therapy using Cognitive Restructuring for PTSD and CBT for Symptoms of Psychosis modalities

Provide individual and group therapy and case management to a caseload of 6-10 clients in a Department of Youth Services secure detention facility serving adolescent males. Primary treatment modalites of DBT and substance abuse education and prevention.Work with clients with a range of presenting problems including: delinquency, defiance, substance abuse, trauma reactive behaviors, sexual offense, family problems. Complete court ordered 68A evaluations and placement recommendations for the court as assigned.Participate in the MA Juvenile Detention Alternatives Initiative, including Worcester pilot site subcommittee and Alternatives to Detention subcommittee. Participate in training and continuous quality assurance for newly implemented positive based behavior management system.

Complete emergency evaluations, including diagnostic assessment and level of care determination, as a member of a mobile crisis team. Obtain approval for levels of care from insurance companies.

Evaluate referrals for admission of patients to 9 specialized inpatient psychiatry units

Work with a multidisciplinary treatment team to establish and deliver individual treatment and discharge plans for patients on inpatient psychiatric unit

Provide home-based therapy and case management services youth ages 6-21 in intensive foster care.

Provide a safe and therapeautic milieu for adolescent females in residential treatment
