Commercial Sales Director, leading a multi discipline Sales team developing Cooltherm's exciting range of products and services to the UK HVAC sector.

As NSM for Carel UKs OEM division I am responsible for a significant portion of the UK business and some of our largest clients.Leading my team of Sales Managers, we support our Refrigeration and HVAC client portfolio whilst developing new accounts and solutions inline with our business strategy and goals.

As Technical Sales Manager for the HVAC OEM market I am working with a broad spectrum of manufacturers in the HVAC sector with a national remit. I am responsible for all of our HVAC OEM business.This role has me working on a number of cutting edge R&D projects utilising Carel's components, developing bespoke energy saving electronic control solutions for market leading OEMs across the HVAC industry.

As Key Account Manager for Sainsbury's my responsibilities include managing the overall relationship between Sainsburys and Space Engineering Services, including interacting with senior members of Sainsburys Procurement, Property and Engineering divisions. I am responsible for managing the annual sales forecast (which incorporates the sales forecasts of my heads of work streams) and reporting back to our board of directors.In addition to taking overall responsibility for our relationship with Sainsburys, I am responsible for the delivery of the largest revenue stream. This includes managing a team of 5 project managers, chairing the weekly team conference calls and quarterly team meetings, budgeting and forecasting for both finance and resource.Additional responsibilities/ achievements include working with Sainsburys to develop key initiatives, speaking to audiences in excess of 300 supplier delegates up to director level; championing Sainsbury's within Space Engineering Services, developing account plans, selling and implementing strategies internally and leading competitive tenders resulting in significant and entirely new work streams for Space Engineering Services.

Responsible for Refrigeration and Mechanical installations and refurbishments with several of the country’s largest retailers. I started working on convenience sites and quickly moved to main store projects. I had ‘cradle to grave’ ownership of each project and my key responsibilities were engineering, design, costing, phase planning, site management (including health and safety), project delivery and profit margin. I worked on projects between £50k and £1m, which lasted between 2 and 10 weeks.
