Since 1996, Selby Gildemacher operates under the moniker of PIEK! a contemporary and dynamic multidisciplinary art, by now, one men ‘group’.The work of PIEK! includes a humorous and ironic look at contemporary society and examines current social structures through video, websites, ceramics, performances, installations, iPhone apps, radio and pop music.

Hackers & Designers is a non-profit workshop initiative organizing activities at the intersection of technology, design and art. By creating shared moments of hands-on learning H&D stimulates collaboration across disciplines, technological literacy, and different levels of expertise.The H&D COOPHackers & Designers currently consists of nine people of which eight form the ‘H&D COOP’, a decentralized organization form that distributes power over finances and decision making. The current H&D COOP members are Loes Bogers, André Fincato, Selby Gildemacher, Anja Groten, Heerko van der Kooij, Juliette Lizotte, Karl Moubarak, Pernilla Manjula Philip. Christine Kappé develops the H&D administrative and financial workflows that align with our flattened organizational structure.The H&D CommunityThe larger H&D community consists of a growing pool of international makers from diverse backgrounds. The aim of H&D is to stimulate and support exchange, learning and collaborations within this larger network of soft- and hardware developers, designers, artists, and researchers, and to create inspiring and encouraging spaces for the community to share skills, urgent topics, and interests, as well as concrete offers for commissions, exhibitions, guest lectures and workshop facilitation. The H&D network could also be described as a network of tool builders. By tools we mean software and/or hardware constructions but also pedagogical tools and tools for collaboration that enable critical engagement with, and through, technology.

The Stadscuratorium advocates the importance and preservation of Amsterdam's art in public space and encourages new art projects. The committee, consisting of 9 members, provides the college, the mayor and executive board, with advice, both solicited and unsolicited.

The Breitner Academy (formerly Academie voor Beeldende Vorming) is the oldest visual education course in the Netherlands. It started in 1881 at the Rijksmuseum as the 'Rijks Normaalschool voor Teekenonderwijs'. The Breitner Academy is part of the Amsterdam University of the Arts and offers the only independent teacher training in the visual arts in the Netherlands.

Het Weduwen en WezenfondsIedereen kan financieel in de problemen komen doordat alles tegenzit; door ziekte of ongeluk, of doordat een partner plotseling wegvalt. Door een eindeloze rij van oorzaken kan een onoplosbaar financieel probleem ontstaan. Mocht dat u treffen, als lid kunstenaar van de Maatschappij Arti et Amicitiae, dan is het goed te weten dat Het Fonds voor Weduwen en Wezen van Kunstenaarsleden der Maatschappij Arti et Amicitiae wellicht kan helpen.

K&C begeleidt diverse kunstprojecten in de openbare ruimte. De medewerkers van K&C adviseren en ondersteunen gemeenten, provincie, instellingen, initiatiefgroepen en kunstenaars. Dit doen we met samen met externe adviseurs. We zijn betrokken bij de initiatieffase, de ontwerpfase en de realisatie en plaatsing van de kunstwerken.Soms wordt de realisering van een kunstwerk aangevuld met educatieve programma's en community art projecten

More than half of all exhibitions in Arti are programmed by the Programme Committee(PC). The PC works on the basis of a common view in order to keep Arti recognizable and relevant in the art world. This vision is constantly evolving and for Arti currently has representative elements such as intergenerational, cross-over, laboratory function and international exchange.

CS2 is a creative platform for the new generation of artists, designers, media and theatre makers. A network that discusses, inspires and uses each other as a sounding board. Initiated by AVROTROS and Vondel CS.

De PUNT is an art and project space in de Czaar Peter neighborhood in Amsterdam, initiated by De Derde Verdieping in collaboration with the Sandberg Instituut Amsterdam and NEVERNEVERLAND.http://depunt.org

De kunstcommissie heeft tot taak het college te adviseren over de artistieke kwaliteit van diverse activiteiten op het gebied van de beeldende kunst en vormgeving. Daarnaast begeleidt de commissie kunstopdrachten.
