• Responsible for coordinating, supervising, monitoring, and reporting all field/workshop operations (sandblasting and painting, sheet metal fabrication and welding, block fabrication and block erection, insulation laying, pipe fabrication and installation/fitting, cable laying and terminating, equipment installations, alignment, and installation of all main propulsion system equipment, installation of HVAC systems and air ducts, rigging operations, installation of electronic, warfare and gunnery systems) related to all ship construction projects in the shipyard.• Coordinates the order of work with other related stakeholders (Planning Department, Design Department, Logistics/Supply Chain Department, Workshops, Subcontractors, etc.) for the timely completion of the activities.• Responsible for installation, setting to work, testing (IT, OT, HAT, SAT) and commissioning of all mechanical systems;o rudder, fin stabilizers, HVAC, anchor and mooring equipment, helo landing deck equipment, diesel generators (MTU 2000), boat davit, oil/fuel seperators, bilge seperators, pumps, fire fighting equipments, reverse osmosis plant etc.and navigation systems; o radars, communication systems etc.• Responsible for installation, alignment, testing and commissioning of main propulsion diesels, gas turbines, reduction gears, propellers and CPP systems;o MTU 4000, MTU 595, MAN 175D engines,o GE LM 2500 Gas Turbine,o RENK Reduction Gear (CODAG),o Andritz Hydro (Escher Wyss) CPP System and propeller,o Propulsion shafts (2x 30 m)o Shaft bearings (Thordon, Orkot etc.)• Coordinates the quality checks/controls with the Internal Quality Control Department and also with the Classification Society and the customer to verify the deliverables.Projects:­ - ISTANBUL Class Frigate Construction Program (1 Ship)­ - Pakistan Navy MILGEM Class Corvettes Construction Program (2 Ships)­ - Offshore Patrol Vehicle Construction Program (2 Ships):

• Responsible for planning and coordinating the ship construction projects with the design, production & procurement parties and other Government & Private organizations.• Reviewing and remarking/correcting preliminary / detail design documents regarding to mechanical systems (i.e. main propulsion systems, rudder, fin stabilizers, HVAC, anchor and mooring equipment, helo landing deck equipment, diesel generators, boat davit, oil/fuel seperators, bilge seperators, pumps, fire fighting equipments, reverse osmosis plant etc.)• Construct the main ship construction time plan.• Lead/manage a team that;­ Defines the scope of work, ­ Divides each Production Data Package received from the Design Department into work packages/activities,­ Estimates the required Man x Hours and Activity Durations for each activity, ­ Prepares and publishes the work orders and parts lists for the Production Department.• Analyze the time-based workload/work capacity to optimize workforce, cost and schedule.• Conduct all written external communication with all the stakeholders.• Plan the acceptance tests and delivery/commissioning of the ships.Projects:­ - MILGEM ADA Class Corvettes Construction Program (2 Ships): Assumed all the roles and responsibilities stated above for the last 2 ships of the program. Contributed to early delivery of the 2 ships, namely 4 months and 9 months earlier than the scheduled contractual delivery dates, respectively. ­ - ISTANBUL Class Frigate Construction Program (1 Ship): Assumed all the roles and responsibilities stated above.­ - Pakistan Navy MILGEM Class Corvettes Construction Program (2 Ships): Attended the contract negotiations as a part of the Turkish Ministry of National Defence team with the DGMP of Pakistan and played key roles in both the financial and technical aspects of the negotiations. After the contract is effective, assumed all the roles and responsibilities stated above.­ - Offshore Patrol Vehicle Construction Program (2 Ships)
