About Selena Gordon

Though I have managed human resources for over 15 years, my passion for this area and my desire to increase my professional knowledge prompted me to return to school, and I recently graduated with my bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management. I am also an active member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). I am currently responsible for payroll, scheduling, and performance management for as many as 35 employees. I direct the recruitment lifecycle, engage in employee dispute resolution, and I am always finding ways to improve employee relations. I have comprehensive knowledge of federal, state, and local laws and regulations, and I ensure that I stay abreast of updates to keep the company in compliance. In addition, I also manage day-to-day business operations in which I analyze and report on both short and long-term strategic planning. I handle daily office administration, including procurement and control of inventory, management of accounts payable and receivable, and I also direct targeted advertising and marketing campaigns.
