Having danced at Charlesworth Walsh Dance Centre for over 20 years, I had been given the privilege of teaching future generations on the Joy of Dance.My roles and responsibilities at Charlesworth Walsh Dance Centre include:- Ensuring safe and nurturing environments to include all children in supporting their relationship between learning, wellbeing and physical activity- Supporting and working with other dance teachers in developing weekly programs and activities for children and adolescents to engage and challenge motor and cognitive development- Mentoring new teachers and student teachers - Prepare and support students through annual examinations and competitions- Support teachers and students by working collaboratively to enhance creativity in classes and creative ways to promote confidence and self-esteem- Maintain regular communication with parents and guardians, providing valuable feedback on their child’s progress and addressing areas needing attention

DPV Health is an inclusive and rainbow tick accredited organisation. My role at DPV Health, was in the Diversity, Inclusion and Community Engagement Portfolio, as part of the Population Health team.My responsibilities included: - Developing needs assessment plans and gathere relevant data in identifying and addressing health issues present and emerging among vulnerable communities; specifically in culturally and linguistically diverse communities and LGBTIQA+ communities- Planned, monitored and evaluated key programs and projects in accordance with the Victorian Community Health - Health Promotion program, and other internal frameworks and maturity plans - Developed educational resources for businesses, schools, councils and workplaces- Contributed to key developments and support in community engagement, and external volunteer networks- Work with community leaders in co-designing and co-producing health promotion initiatives that suited the community- Developed partnerships with businesses and councils to advocate for and influence decisions that empower the community in a sustainable mannerI also worked to establish the first LGBTIQA+ friendly cafe and supported the establishment of the first Rainbow Friendly Playgroup in the catchment.
