About Selena Quiroz, Ph.D.

Hello! I have a PhD in Developmental Psychology from Arizona State University, along with 6+ years of behavioral research experience across academic and industry sectors. My expertise broadly includes psychology, interpersonal relationships, adolescence/young adult populations, technology and digital media, human development, dating violence, and mental health. I use a mix of quantitative and qualitative methods to answer research questions about human behaviors, including methods such as surveys, daily diaries, behavioral coding, and experiments. I aim to utilize the best combination of methods available, and often create new methods to fit the project at hand. I have a passion for stats with experience utilizing a wide variety of analyses (linear and logistic regression, t-tests, ANOVAs, multilevel models, growth modeling, time series modeling, SEM, machine learning) and software programs (SPSS, R, R Markdown, Mplus, SAS, Excel).
