I provide comprehensive technical support and troubleshooting for all GenMark products to our customers via telephone, email, and remote access. Technical assistance is also offered to sales, engineering, and marketing departments. I ensure fact-based scientific, engineering, and analytical best practices and principles are utilized to accomplish tasks. The Roche customer complaint handling process includes receiving, logging, investigating, resolving issues with customers, and tracking/trending complaints in compliance with the Quality System requirements. My team provides additional support after hours, over holidays, and on weekends on a rotating basis. We also participate in developing and implementing new products and technical support plans to ensure a successful launch and continued customer support.

I performed all Flow Cytometry validation testing, clinical testing, and data analysis. This included preparing reagents and solutions used in testing processes. I also recorded the data in the electronic medical records system. As the only employee in the laboratory, I was responsible for the management of day-to-day operations including inventory, laboratory maintenance, and calibration of various instruments according to manufacturer specifications. I was also the laboratory safety officer. Lastly, I had the opportunity to support various assay research and development projects for the company.

I started within the Molecular department where I performed SARS-CoV-2 testing. Later, I transferred to the Genetics department where I performed Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) and Sanger Sequencing. There, I also trained new employees on NGS and developed training documentation. I monitored and manipulated robotics, and prepared reagents and solutions for testing within both departments; I also maintained patient medical records and helped perform routine laboratory maintenance.

I was the first point of contact for patients seeking urgent care in person or over the phone. I served patients by scheduling appointments, confirming insurance, and maintaining the reception area. Additionally, I maintained patient records and accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial information. Lastly, I protected patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of medical, personal, and financial information through a continued working knowledge of HIPAA.
