About Selena Mclachlan

I’m a values-driven communications and marketing strategist, with 25+ years experience leading teams and building brands. A storyteller at heart, with strong analytical skills, and the ability to work with stakeholder audiences across all levels. I’ve spent most of my career in senior MarCom roles in the co-operative and non-profit sectors; leading brand, marketing and engagement strategies for a number of iconic Canadian brands including Vancity, MEC, Modo, and the Vancouver General Hospital Foundation.Having semi-retired a few years ago, I keep my mind sharp and my heart invested through volunteer work with a few local boards, and by continuing to create social impact as a part-time marketing consultant and business coach - working only on initiatives that align with my social, environmental and economic vales. And I have to admit, it’s been pretty awesome to turn down those that don’t :-)
