First semester clinical rotation. Under the supervision of clinical instructor and preceptor primary RN, I provided full care of one patient on the Medical unit and the Surgical unit. This included but not limited to a full head-to-toe assessment done and charted, passed meds (oral, subcutaneous) with primary RN and implemented providers orders according to facility's policy and scope of practice with primary RN.

Fourth semester clinical rotation. Under the supervision of clinical instructor and preceptor primary RN, I provided full care of four patient on the Medical surgical unit. This included but not limited to a full head-to-toe assessment done and charted, passed meds (oral, subcutaneous, IM and IVPB, IV push) with primary RN and implemented providers orders according to facility's policy and scope of practice with primary RN for each patient.OB rotation: March 2024. During OB rotation I had the opportunity to shadow the primary RN through the various departments such as Ante Partum, Labor and Delivery, Post partum, Triage and Operating rooms. During this rotation I had the opportunity to get hands-on experience by implementing orders such as placing Foley catheters, New born assessments, Fetal monitoring and patient teaching . I also had the opportunity to be a patient advocate and use my bilingual skills (English/Spanish) to translate and bring comfort to patients in times of distress.

Third semester clinical rotation. Under the supervision of clinical instructor and preceptor primary RN, I provided full care of three patients on the Telemetry unit and the Surgical unit . This included but not limited to a full head-to-toe assessment done and charted, passed meds (oral, subcutaneous, IM and IVPB) with primary RN and implemented providers orders according to facility's policy and scope of practice with primary RN for each patient.

Pediatrics clinical rotation. Under the supervision of clinical instructor and preceptor primary RN, I provided care to one patient in the Pediatric unit/PICU unit. This included but not limited to a full head-to-toe assessment done and charted, passed meds with primary RN and implemented providers orders according to facility's policy and scope of practice with primary RN.

Second semester clinical rotation. Under the supervision of clinical instructor and preceptor primary RN, I provided full care of two patients on the Telemetry unit and the Surgical unit.
