I am a dynamic and experienced flutist and music educator seeking a full-time position supporting an arts organization. I am proud to teach young music students privately in Morris County and at the Wharton Arts Performing Arts School, as well as direct the Chamber Flutes ensemble at New Jersey Youth Symphony. I aim to guide and encourage all of my students to find joy in music, advance their musicianship, pursue extracurricular music opportunities, and act as leaders in their school music programs. I have worked for successful arts organizations such as Wharton Arts, New Jersey Youth Symphony, New Jersey Youth Chorus, Sound Impact, The Clarice, and my university's chapter of Sigma Alpha Iota International Music Fraternity. One of my professional highlights was when I worked as a student curator for NextNOW Fest at The Clarice. I worked on a team of two other student curators and two artistic planning administrators to plan a weeklong annual arts festival at the University of Maryland. I led the planning and production on seven events ranging across arts disciplines: photo shoots of attendees, student music group performances by artists on Terrapin Record Label, Creative Baggage Podcast, artwork displayed in residence halls to foster social connections between students, and even a virtual reality nighttime marketplace experience created by Flower STEM. I am confident that I will positively influence an arts organization to help promote the arts in the surrounding community and grow the impact of the organization.
