Responsible for the expansion of a +100 year old family business' finance, industrial and commercial arms.Setcar Group owns and operates 19 subsidiaries across automotive, heavy equipment, oil & gas, asphalt manufacturing, transportation, hospitality and finance.

Leading a team of portfolio managers and acting as signatory authority for all confirmations across multiple asset classes (i.e. FX options, Money markets, Murabahas, Credit default swaps, Interest rates and derivatives)

As a portfolio manager I reported to the Head of Back Office and my tasks included, but were not limited to the following:- Paying premiums to clients within the cut off dates- Resolving cash breaks that were generated- Client and customer management- Affirming and matching contracts- Contract revisions

As a Junior Credit Analyst, I reported to the Credit director and my tasks included, but were not limited to the following:- Quality control of potential brokers and KYC verification(i.e. due dilligence) (≈ 5 requests per day)- Studying multiple balance sheets to evaluate the potential eligibility of various companies and re-scoring them (≈ 10 requests per day)- Pre-instruction of credit applications: eligibility, managing, payment behaviour, accounts seniority (≈ 10 requests per day)- Economic and Financial diagnostics of clients seeking equity loan to assess the risk of non-repayment (≈ 5 requests per day)- Daily alerts processing (scores of deterioration, bankruptcy)
