I’ve always had a passion for reading, writing, technology, and languages. When your job lets you express your passion, you deliver great work. That’s what I do.When I was 16, I was given the opportunity to launch the website of PCnet, one of Turkey’s leading computer magazines. I made it into one of the largest Turkish tech websites in a few years and managed it for 14 years.It shortly turned out I was not only good at building websites, but writing as well. I became a freelance writer for the magazine, then promoted to managing editor, and then executive editor.I’ve written and translated countless articles, hundreds of software and website reviews; proofread and edited much more. I’ve created content for magazines (PCnet, Computer Active, OYUNCU), newspapers (Yurt), apps (nexxt), websites (Webrazzi, Microsoft Turkey, ekolay). I've translated Popular Science, Popular Science Junior, How It Works, and numerous magazines and bookazines for Turkey's largest magazine publisher.I’m also experienced in localizing web and software content. I’m currently leading Turkish localization efforts for Mozilla and Bitwarden. I’ve contributed to various localization projects, including but not limited to Google, Facebook, Twitter, Reddit, NextDNS, vBulletin, PHP-Nuke, WHMCS, and Netvibes.I volunteer. I like making a difference for the greater good of netizens.I began localizing Mozilla Firefox in 2010. It’s not just a different kind of browser, it's a browser that makes a difference. I became the Turkish localization team manager for Mozilla in 2012.I joined Mensa Turkey, the Turkish branch of the high IQ society in 2011. I became a board member in 2013.I joined Curlie (formerly DMOZ), the largest human-edited web directory in 2002. I became a meta editor overseeing the whole directory in 2009.I’m also a Goodreads librarian and a Foursquare superuser. I enjoy translating song lyrics and film subtitles in my free time.I’ve appeared on CNN Türk, Kanal D, and RS FM discussing technology trends. I was featured in İbrahim Eryiğit's book, “Başarılı Gençler” (“Successful Youth”), published in 2011.
