Numerous global publications featuring our innovative projects are living proof we are on the right track.Founder Selim Vural is a licensed architect with numerous globally published projects which question the status quo and explore new directions in architecture. Selim holds a BArch degree from Fine Arts Academy in Istanbul and a MArch degree from Pratt Institute in New York. Prior to founding Studio Vural, Selim worked at prominent firms such as Eisenman Architects, Skidmore Owings and Merrill, Swanke Hayden Connell, and Robert AM Stern Architects, participating in award-winning international projects. He also taught architectural studio classes at the New York Institute of Technology, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and Pratt Institute to further his knowledge of architecture by teaching the young generations. Selim works and lives in Brooklyn with his wife and 13-year-old son.

Senior ArchitectSwanke Hayden Connell Architects Jan 2005 - Jan 2008Developed construction drawings and detailing of 70.000 sf. office space for a prominent NY developer. Responsibilities included CD drawing set preparation, coordination of details, lighting specs, and MEP coordination with the objectives of the design team.MIRAX RESIDENTIAL COMPLEX - Moscow:Designed and developed podium and cellar levels of a 1.5 million square feet residential project. The podium consisted of retail spaces, parking, a gym, tennis courts, a covered glass swimming pool, and a recreational courtyard.SLAVA COMPLEX, Moscow Senior DesignerThe project was a mixed-use office and retail complex of 2 million square feet volume in downtown Moscow. Developed the design of 6 office lobbies, and carried the design through construction drawings and detailing.

Worked on the development of the amenity spaces. Developed the spa, locker rooms, recreation rooms, and administration functions of the program. Developed the pool design, detailed the retractable roof and the pool terrace.
