I’m an innovative sports development manager and coach of 18+ years. I'm passionate about my work and love the work that I do. I feel lucky be able to share my passion with both young people and adults.I’m a Head of PE and Extra Curricular Activities at a private school, I tutor Physical Education, own a Gymnastics club as well as holiday clubs. I personal train young elite sports children. I work with teachers to develop their knowledge in PE and how to deliver it with an innovative approach to engage young people. I also work with the local council to roll out successful health and well being projects as well as personal training many adults and children to reach their goals. My working style is as energetic and collaborative as it is independent and thoughtful. I lead by example to my staff and value every member of my team. I use the every child matters statement at the heart of all of my education work. Career highlights include being the founder and creator of Southend Under 11s Athletics club and Southend Gifted and Talented Academy. I also helped grow the provision of athletics within Southend Borough by developing and creating a new Borough Sports event, a pathway for the more successful athletes called SuperSports and both a cross country league and sportshall athletics competition which has been continued to be developed and grown by the SPSSA team. I have been a guest speaker at several national sports conferences sharing my innovative projects with headteachers and sports directors around the country and continue to deliver tutoring workshops in Gymnastics, Dance and Athletics around the country. I have taken teams to national finals, worked at the Olympics, been a team manager at the national sports games, a County development manager and I have managed several county and regional competitions. I have also run several successful sports awards ceremonies with live entertainment for over 2,500 people.
