About Selin Pişkiner

As the Director of Digital Media at Ciner Group, I was given the challenge of digitizing the newspaper (Haberturk - Turkish daily newspaper) which was a part of the whole digital transformation process of Ciner Group. Initially, we’ve developed a digital transformation project together with Editor-in-Chief of HT Selcuk Tepeli. We chose to go beyond just adding a digital technology to the newspaper and we generated a digital mindset among our very traditional editorial staff to transform the customer experience.This project is called HT DOKUN (HT Touch) which is the first sample in the world, incorporates a mobile scanning device which is placed throughout the newspaper to generate functional, visual and detailed content for current news.
