Sello is a graduate of the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg. He studied Drama and Film as part of his degree course – Barchelor of Arts. He is a holder of a Management Advancement Programme (MAP) from the Wits Business School - University of the Witwatersrand. Sello was also trained in the field of television and film production by the Community Video School (aka Newtown Film and Television School) and the Media Unit of Africa Cultural Centre, Newtown. Sello was previously employed by the following establishments: SABC (researcher-producer), Sithengi (market coordinator), Independent Producers Organisation ( Executive Director), Department of Labour (Assistant Director), Department of Foreign Affairs(Deputy Director-Audio Visual), Film and Publications Board (Head of Classification).
