Supporting the 36 independent Women's Aid charities in Scotland to develop sustainable and feminist organisational structures and practice through delivering tailored capacity building services - including a yearly programme of events, learning and development, an annual conference, governance training and one to one support on organisational development, management and governance.

Art Space is a community education space for exploration, reflection and action! As project tutor my role is to organise this 8 week long course (twice yearly), to provide weekly discussion inputs, facilitate the learning space and support project participants in creating art inspired by our the topics discussed. Organised a multi-disciplinary conference in Edinburgh exploring issues related to gender, agency and stigma in post-conflict communities. Originally created as the Lived Zaatari Documentary Project, my role was researching aid organisations and conditions in and around the Zaatari refugee camp in Jordan, focusing in particular on education. I helped plan a successful trip for research and documentary team visiting in and around the camp, resulting in the creation of a report and documentary on the lives of young people. I helped plan a successful trip for research and documentary team visiting in and around the camp, resulting in the creation of a report and documentary on the lives of young people. I also created an internal structure to accomodate the Lived Zaatari Documentary Project progress to becoming a registered Scottish charitable organisation: LIVED. After achieving Scottish Charitable status, my work consisted of research, and I co-wrote reports as part of the research team and while developing strategies to create sustainable educational film workshops to be delivered to adolescents in contexts of displacement. Assistant work in a psychiatric institution predominantly for long and short-term stay patients suffering from depression or anxiety. My responsibilities include managing the weekly program of activities as well as upholding individual treatment-plans, promoting wellbeing and offering conversation and engagement with patients. In addition, writing up daily relevant reports on individual patients' developments and situation to brief shift successors.
