Hi, I'm Selma and I'm currently studying English at Iowa State. I've been interested in writing from a young age and my big life goal is by a published author. Currently I'm a teacher for an after school program which has helped me gain skills in leadership, classroom management and problem-solving. I definitely have considered furthering my education after my undergraduate so that I could potentially teach at the college level. I also have my Seal of Biliteracy in Spanish which I unfortunately don't speak in my day to day life but I had enjoyed learning the language and culture over five years and am still passionate about learning more. Lastly, I am a proud member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honors Society.
