Sarah is the owner and founder of Physiothérapie Avantex. She is a licensed, CAMPT-certified physiotherapist specializing in the management of vestibular disorders and persistent post-concussion symptoms. She completed her Bachelor of Science (Anatomy & Cell Biology) at McGill university in 2006, and went on to complete her Master of Science (Applied) Physical Therapy in 2010. She completed her Diploma of Advanced Manual and Manipulative Therapy and achieved the rank of Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Therapists in Fall 2017. She regularly mentors novice physiotherapists and has recently begun teaching neurological and orthopedic rehabilitation at McGill University.Sarah’s fields of interest are post-concussion syndrome, vestibular rehabilitation, neck pain and cervicogenic headache. Sarah has been working with patients with concussion and vestibular disorders for several years. She has worked with a wide range of clients from professional & Olympic athletes to the general public, children to the elderly.She has a particular interest in treating persistent and chronic post-concussion symptoms, especially dizziness. She is passionate about helping her clients meet their goals and return to work, sport and life as quickly as possible. Sarah is an accomplished long-distance runner and triathlete. She loves working with athletes of all levels, from weekend-warrior to professional.
