Dr. Selvarajan Ethiraj is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Genetic Engineering, SRM University. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Biotechnology from Arunai Engineering College, Anna University, Chennai in 2007, Master’s degree in Industrial Biotechnology from SASTRA University,Tamil Nadu in 2009, and his Ph.D. in Biotechnology from Vellore Institute ofTechnology University, Tamil Nadu in 2015. He has worked as an Assistant Professor at SRM University since 2016, and before that, he worked as an Assistant Professor at the Sree Sastha Institute of Engineering and Technology (2010) and NIT Calicut (2015–2016). His research interests mainly include Biofuels, Enzyme Engineering, and Environmental Genomics. Heis also a member of the Indian Society for Technical Education—ISTE, TheBiotech Research Society, India and the European Society for Nanomedicine—ESNAM
