As a Graduate Apprenticeship Trainee at Chennai Petroleum Corp. Ltd (Indian Oil), I have gained hands-on experience in various process units within the refinery, such as the Once-Through Hydrocracking Unit (OHCU), the Fluidized Catalytic Cracking Unit (FCCU), and the Propylene Recovery Unit (PRU). I have learned about the hydrocracking and catalytic cracking processes, the operations of the reactors, heat exchangers, pumps, and catalysts, and the separation of the lighter-ends products. I hold a Bachelor of Technology in Petroleum Engineering from Anna University Chennai, where I acquired the theoretical and practical knowledge of the exploration, production, and refining of hydrocarbons. I also completed certifications in Introduction of Petrel Software, and IWCF Level-1, which enhanced my skills in reservoir modeling, and well control. I am passionate about challenging myself and pushing my limits to get the best out of myself. I am open-minded, cooperative, optimistic, smart, and flexible. My goal is to pursue a career in the petroleum industry that allows me to apply my skills and knowledge, and to learn from the experts and innovators in the field.
