An effective and highly organized marine operations, maintenance & safety engineering officer working on container & very large gas fleets with 8 years of commercial & technical shipping work experience and managerial skills who monitors and ensures all compliance with all safety standards, including health and safety statutes and regulations. Applying organizational health and safety policies in all the places of work space environment and creating awareness in the work place culture. Making required changes, developing response strategies and techniques to keep safety risks to a minimum ensuring safe operation of the ships in global trade. Roles and Responsibilities:* Full In-charge of safety and watch keeping in Engine Room Machinery Space (OICEW Unlimited). *In-charge of all safety’s including Fire Fighting and Life Saving appliances in E/R Space.* In-charge of safety in handling all bunkering operations (HFO, MDO, VLSFO, LSMGO, Lube Oils for various machineries) and all tank soundings & effective calculations to get optimized result.* In-charge of safety in operation and routine maintenance of Main Propulsion Plant, Dual-fuel Gas System, Marine Diesel Generators, Air Compressors, Marine Boilers, Purification systems, F.O & L.O Systems, Oily Water Separator, Sewage treatment plant, Fresh Water Generator, Incinerator, all S.W & F.W Pumps, Cooling system, refrigeration & air conditioning plant in Engine room.*In-charge of safety in monitoring and safe handling of Bilge, Sludge, Sewage, all Lube Oil stocks and Chemical Inventory onboard. *In-charge in handling all engine room checklists, permits to work, risk assessments, special work permits and paper works.*In-charge in waste management with effective and safe disposal of sewage, garbage and hazardous wastes.*Special responsibility and duties to carry out drills and emergency procedures onboard.
