ScientistHarris 1978 - 1998During this period I was responsible for requirements analysis and architectural definition for the next generation Falcon II HF, VHF and Multiband digital radio products. After leading the system architecture definition effort, I focused specifically on system analysis aimed at cost/performance tradeoffs with partitioning and assignment of module hardware functions and performance requirements. This effort involved simultaneously trading off performance and feature requirements against constraint budgets (cost, power consumption, size, development time) while evaluating the application of new technology and rapidly evolving commercial components. During the final phase, my primary focus was technical leadership of the radio system integration and RF/Analog development efforts in addition to acting as a mentor and general resource for the development team. -
