I graduated from Middle East Technical University and started working at Sevgi Hospital’s IVF Laboratory. In 2000, I took part in the building process of Memorial Hospital’s IVF Laboratory and continued to work there as IVF Laboratory Director until 2007. I started specializing in Male infertility and genetics here. Then, I founded the IVF Laboratory for HRS Hospital and directed the laboratory between 2007-2009. In 2009, I started working at German Hospital in İstanbul as the director. Here, I studied mature spermatozoa selection for ICSI cases and how to improve the process. After that, I started working as the director of Centrum Clinic’s IVF Laboratory. Here, I specialized in new generation ELSI/ROSI techniques (Tanaka Method).I am one of the pioneers who operated the first applications of microinjection under high magnification, freezing, and thawing of embryos and sperms with the vitrification method, endometrial coculture, and trophectoderm embryo biopsy. I also participated in multiple national and international studies about male infertility, pre-implementation genetic diagnosis, embryo culture systems, and IVF laboratory QA/QC processes according to WHO standards and ESHRE and ASRM guidelines. I started applying the first ROSI/ELSI techniques in November 2018 and had my first healthy pregnancy in February 2019.
