Conducted research on Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) for a binary geothermal power plant and successfully implemented it within the company. The report was part of a project on reducing CO2 emissions and balancing the Dutch energy mix, as current decision-making (e.g. governments and consortia) in deep geothermal projects tends to be limited to the short term. LCA was just one piece of the puzzle of how to integrate approaches to gain insights into the long term benefits of geothermal energy utilisation in Dutch society.
