I am Electronics Team Lead of Formula Trinity. A student-run Formula style competition.The objective is to build a student Formula 1 car in a year.I manage a team of engineers, designing, prototyping and building all computer and electronic safety and control systems for our first formula style racing car.Kill switches, safety switches, driver display, data transfer, real-time monitoring and data acquisition are just some of the things that need to be looked after by the electronics team. The car won’t turn a wheel unless we have a robust system of electronic controls and protocols.

I'm leading a team of engineering students to conceptualise, design and eventually build the chassis of a student F1 car to compete at Formula student at Silverstone Circuit in July 2018.Mine and my departments responsibilities: - Understand and innovate the role and shortcomings of the modern formula chassis. - Virtually design and create our chassis subject to the competition rules and our other department's specifications. - Assess the risks of racing our chassis and make informed decisions on materials and modelling with respect to cost and weight analysis. - Organise, oversee and partake in the manufacture and assembly of the finalised chassis.
