Daryl Jones graduated with honors from the United States Air Force Academy in 1977. He then began serving his country as an F-4 Phantom II fighter pilot for the U.S. Air Force. After seven years on active duty, Mr. Jones left the Air Force to attend the University Of Miami School Of Law where he graduated cum laude in 1987. He began his legal career as a federal judicial clerk for Judge Peter Fay in the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals, and then joined the Dade County Attorney's Office in the Aviation Division. In 1989, Captain Jones joined the Puerto Rico Air National Guard as an A-7D Corsair II fighter pilot and one year later joined the U.S. Air Force Reserve at Homestead AFB, FL as an F-16 fighter pilot.In 1990 Daryl Jones was elected to the Florida House of Representatives and in 1992 to the Florida Senate where he served until 2002. Senator Jones was the 1998 nominee for Secretary of the Air Force and the 2006 Democratic nominee for Lt. Governor of Florida. A United States Air Force retired colonel, Daryl is also active in numerous Miami civic and community organizations. In 2008 Daryl Jones founded The Law Officed of Daryl L. Jones, a real estate law firm.
