Rotational Engineer
Houston, Texas, Us
My first rotation with Enterprise Products was in Houston, TX, where I was a pipeline integrity engineer. It was my responsibility to monitor corrosion, damage, and other risk factors present in and around company-owned pipelines, with the goal of maintaining safe operations. Aside from my usual work supporting integrity assessments, my major contribution to the department was writing a program to correlate pigging data between vendors. While functional, this program is still under development*, and will eventually provide a more comprehensive analysis of corrosion and mechanical damage detected on company pipelines. My second rotation was in Farmington, New Mexico, where I supported operations in the San Juan region as a field engineer and project manager, managing rehab and construction projects. My third rotation was in Houston, Texas, where I worked as a Rehab Project Manager. I managed repair projects for gas and liquid pipelines. While I still worked in cooperation with the engineering group I was a part of during my first rotation, my responsibilities centered on project coordination.
