Primary Functions:- Be a lead team member on all YUCCA programming - campaign development, execution, relationship coordination, outreach/organizing, and resource development- Be a lead team member on Earth Care’s southside and community development work- Support the administrative back/end needs of the campaign including research, communications follow-up, logistics for events/actions, agenda/script development, fundraising campaign tasks, website updating, and social media, etc.Secondary Functions:-Contribute to the strategic development of the overall organization as a core staff member-Provide perspective and represent the organization in community affairs as needed-Serve as a member of the Earth Care training team across programs as needed

YUCCA is a C4 nonprofit based in New Mexico and coordinated by Earth Care. It is lead by BIPOC youth, and trains young activists in social and environmental justice organizing and supports intergenerational campaigns to advance climate justice, transformative education, sustainability, democracy, and civil rights.I am one of the founding members of YUCCA, and my duties include meeting with state and local political and community leaders, talking to media, policy analysis, and community outreach.
