As a co-founder of The Keep, a new brand that produces kilims and carpets with innovative design and production techniques, I combine my passion for textile and heritage with my skills in architectural design and entrepreneurship. The Keep is a women-led initiative that collaborates with female designers and supports local artisans in Uşak, one of the important centers of kilim and carpet culture in the Aegean region.I have also been the founder and lead architect of Tamirhane Mimarlık, a studio based in Istanbul, since 2011. I specialize in the restoration and refunctionalization of historical buildings, museum and exhibition design, and archaeological documentation. I have worked on several projects that involve multidisciplinary research and production processes with a focus on culture. Additionally, I have been teaching basic design, exhibition design, and pop-up architecture courses at Kadir Has University and MEF University for the past four years. I hold a master's degree in architecture from Yildiz Technical University, where I am currently pursuing my thesis. I am also the co-author of a graphic novel called Netame, published in 2007.
