Hello! My name is Daniel Seng and I am a Junior in the College of Engineering pursuing a Bachelor's of Mechanical Engineering and a minor in Management. I am a member of the John Martinson Honors College which has brought me many opportunities to make interdisciplinary connections. I am involved with Purdue's orientation program, Boiler Gold Rush, where I am able to introduce groups of new students to the great campus of Purdue University. I have taken 2 Milestones courses where I have gained skills in CAD, additive manufacturing, and PCB design which fall adjacent to the many other skills that I am strengthening in my core mechanical engineering classes. I have had the opportunity to work on many projects during my time at Purdue that has greatly strengthened my engineering experience. In my free time I like to make memories with my family, especially through outdoor activities such as camping, boating, and skiing. Much of my passion for engineering originates from spending time with my dad and grandpa, working on various projects and learning how everything functions. I enjoy learning new things everyday through academic and non-academic settings to continually add to my understanding of the world.I am eager to contribute and apply my skills to solve challenging problems with passionate, hardworking, and humble values. I strongly believe that a growth mindset allows for the seemingly impossible to become possible.
