Sengendo Shafic is a Ugandan Social entrepreneur passionate about education, a founder and CEO, Brish Education Services, an organization in Uganda designed to bridge the gaps in the education systems of the East African countries, through innovative programs that provides a practical approach to learning, such as; Business Exposure Visits, Students Exchange Program, Internships, Industrial boot camps, Practical Learning Guides among other. Shafic has an experience over 10 years’ in leading and growing diverse businesses and organizations. His leadership journey started in 2011 when he was appointed as the Information Director of Rural ICT Development Forum an organization that aimed empowering vulnerable youth and women in rural communities of Uganda with basic digital and entrepreneurial skills, winning him an award from Uganda communication Commission (UCC). In 2016 he was appointment as the country representative of Youth Consortium for Progress, an organization based in Gambia, he also volunteered as Country Ambassador of Thought for Food (TFF) in Uganda, He is an entrepreneurship trainer at Uganda Small Scale Industries Association (USSIA), i-Upshift mentor and trainer at UNCIEF and ILO, an alumni of Watoto School of Community Leadership and McKinsey Forward Program.
