University of Utah ~ BS + Master's in Computer Science (2019-2024)Hi - I'm currently at BambooHR as an AI / ML Engineer Associate - helping them build an Agentic AI! Currently, my role is to lead on quality assessment pipeline to make sure the AI provides accurate and complete answers. Soon, it will be more than just answering questions and that is something that keeps me excited about BambooHR AI agent!Care for my background story? Here ya go:I grew up in Cambodia - thinking I would become some sort of Medical Doctor when I was young. After spending almost a year preparing for Med school - I quickly learnt that it wasn't for me. I made a decision to pivot my career goal - becoming a problem solver, I wanted to be able to deal with any problem.I started to focus on my English (2018) - packed my suitcases and flew to the US. The thought I had in mind was that ~ as long as I am in the US, there will be a place for me to grow with whatever path I choose as my career. I want to be happily doing what I care about! I discovered Computer Science and stuck with it. - I'm proudly standing on my decision and am very optimistic about the future!I'm an Engineer working at BambooHR as an AI/ML Engineer. Why?- I want to do something hard- AI is revolutionary and here to stay. I do not want to miss out on the opportunity to ride on this wave and grow with it! BambooHR is using cutting edge technology to build something advance.Highlights: Natural Language Processing, Mobile/Web Full Stack Development, Machine Learning algorithms, Cryptography, and other important security principles.I applied all these skills that I have learnt throughout the program to build a mobile app for my senior Capstone Project. My team built a multi-platform React Native application that aims to help caretakers coordinate their caretaking tasks. Our team was the best reviewed team of the 2023 Senior Capstone.
