My main role in the company as senior design engineer is to manage the entire life cycle of embedded system software of our products, mainly utilising ARM Cortex-M core micro-controllers with applications on Synchronous Machine Excitation regulation, and machine monitoring devices such as Dynamic Combustion Monitoring and Transformer Bushing Monitoring System. I have developed mission critical firmware which are based on RTOS and bare metal. I have very strong knowledge in various peripherals and bus protocols such as SPI, CAN, UART and Network Stacks. I am also good in designing DSP with ARM Cortex M, and actively participate and contribute in open sourced CMSIS-5 GitHub community project. I have developed a novel method to detect failure on Rotating diodes, which are mainly used to provide rectified excitation energy fed from our Voltage Regulator, using Machine Learning.I am experienced with Switching Power supply and improved the efficiency of our power units with soft-switching strategies
