Head of Strategy Execution Office (SEO) and responsible for establishment of the SEO department. SEO is a global function responsible for execution and management of global strategic initiatives defined by Executive Management such as all post-acquisition integrations and pharmaceutical development programs.SEO is accountable for establishment of global project management models and tools and implementation of an aligned and consistent approach for execution of strategic cross-functional and complex projects/programs, incl. planning, execution, prioritization. SEO reports to the company CEO and functions as a strategic sparring partner for Executive Management on strategic planning and decision-making and ensuring clear and consistent communication of strategy to company leaders.The department consists of program directors, project managers and coordinators and well as managers.

Head of the Integration Management Office (IMO) and responsible for management of the post-acquisition integration of two commercial vaccines (Encepur and Rabipur/RabAvert). With IMO being a newly established function, the initial focus was establishment of the integration management team comprising of senior project managers and project coordinators. INTEGRATION MANAGEMENT OFFICE (IMO)The primary purpose of IMO is to define and implement processes, structure and people to effectively manage integration efforts. The responsibility of the integration management team includes leading complex cross-functional workstream initiatives, organizational alignment and improvements, strategic planning (incl. risk management, facilitating timely decision making and issue resolution), execution and communication. In addition, the team manages the day-to-day program operations (internally and with external partners), meeting cadence and workflow, communication structures and in general ensures the PMO process and tools are consistently applied for program efficacy.INTEGRATION OF ENCEPUR/RABIPUR/RABAVERTThe current post-acquisition integration management program of the two commercial vaccines (Encepur and Rabipur/RabAvert) consists of 9-10 large, complex projects including rebuild of manufacturing facilities, tech transfer of manufacturing processes, establishment of global distribution network, transfer of marketing authorizations and implementation of various IT systems and business processes.The total acquisition price of the vaccines is up to approx. EUR 796 million. The integration will be a gradual transition from 2020-2025.
