I was brought on board for one year to open “Illinois” for future memory care exclusive communities and support development team with ‘boots on the ground’ interaction with city government planning boards. I created successful, sustainable relationships for the company to advance into other cities that were initially opposed to their development.■ Won licensure with IDPH within 3 weeks of submission, including Alzheimer’s Disclosure component.■ Coordinated the execution of launch plan; opened facility on time, achieving all goals and yielded a waiting list for move-ins.

In this position, my goal was to position the business to attain refinancing for investor/owners. I independently trained care staff to meet compliance regulations of IDPH and served as the sole driving force behind 85+ move-ins, 60+ remain for a 100-resident capacity community within 14 months. ■ Gained approval on application to convert 40% of the community from assisted living to memory care, creating a 20/80 AL, ALZ property. ■ Cultivated positive buzz for referral sources which brought down the need to use professional referrals from 80% of monthly move-ins to 20% realizing great revenue retention. ■ Successfully corrected 17 IDPH deficiencies and grew NOI from $210K to $460K.■ With 81 move-ins within 1 year; 45 move-outs because of advanced acuity – improved resident care resulting in one true ‘back door’ move-out.

I initially held the Regional Sales Manager role where I managed occupancy goals for 16 senior residences through training, coaching while leading 10-person sales team. I was promoted to Senior Regional Director of Operations within 45 days.As Senior Regional Director, I ran all aspects of operations for 30 senior residences. I also conducted site visits to ensure regulatory compliance, addressed all state findings along with developed plans of correction and guaranteed successful implementation of all operational, sales and marketing plans.
