• Accountable for the smooth running of Internal IT Network of all 3 of the Institute branches in Uganda.• Responsible for daily IT Helpdesk tickets related to General and Critical Issues of all users which includes but not limited to Installation of new software and hardware, troubleshooting, up gradating of devices.• Installation and Migration of Workstations, Laptops, Printers and other devices to be used by users of organization.• Testing of computers and ensuring that computer systems are functioning properly• Physical setting up of computers and software system installation for various computer applications and programs• Management and Monitoring of Anti-Virus server, Backup server, daily, weekly and Monthly backup of File server.• Maintenance of Students’, Payroll, Finance and Accounts applications on Linux server (Open Suse, Red Hat Distros).• Maintaining inventory of equipment and parts as well as documentation of vendor activities.• Provide and recommend solutions to senior management• Maintenance and upgrading of computer systems or offering recommendations on upgrades needed• Troubleshooting routine problems and maintenance of all IT equipment.
