• Maintained Occupational Health & Safety Management System (ISO 45001) and Environment Management System (ISO 14001).• Assess training needs, develop training programs, and conduct regular health and safety training sessions.• Review and include danger/caution instructions in Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) based on risk assessments.• Manage work permit systems and ensure safety control over activities carried out by contractors/employees.• Prepare and monitor H&S statistics, safety performance reports, and ensure availability of necessary equipment.• Conduct safety review and committee meetings, review statistics with top management in PDCA meetings.• Conduct HIRA (Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment) studies and investigate safety incidents.• Coordinate with Occupational Health Center, conduct medical camps, statutory medical examinations, and provide training.• Submit statutory forms, maintain records, and ensure closure of non-conformities raised by regulatory authorities.• Conduct workplace lux and noise studies, implement actions in collaboration with production and maintenance departments.• Perform theme-based audits, safety inspections, and monitor safety performance scores for the plant and contractors.• Focus on safety improvement, implement KAIZEN practices, and reduce accidents/incidents.• Conduct monthly environmental monitoring, ensure compliance with air and water consent parameters.• Investigate incidents/accidents, analyze hazards and controls, and maintain records.• Handling administration, supervising, and advising / directing the safety, health & environment • Bio medical & Hazardous waste collection and disposal as per norms. • Regular plant inspection and sort out environmental aspects, unsafe act and unsafe conditions in workplace.
