I have done the research work on "Investigation of time-frequency transformation technique for power transformer differential protection". In the first phase of research, I had applied the Chirplet transform for power transformer differential protection for discriminating the inrush and internal fault current. In the second phase, I had developed the new transformation technique called Empirical Fourier Transform for power transformer differential protection based on waveform characteristics of inrush and internal fault current. In addition, i have validated the proposed technique with field relay fault recorder data and hardware-In-the Loop testing using RTDS. Also, I worked as a Testing and commissioning engineer in India and Dubai where I used to carry out testing and commissioning activities for all kinds of protection relays using the OMICRON, FREJA testing kit.
