I started my career as proof-reader without any e-publishing skills. I have worked hard to learn about e-publishing. My technical background (computer communication) given a moral support for learning the software packages such as InDesign and Acrobat Professional etc., and some mark-up languages like, HTML, XML, and IDML... I am so passionate about teaching e-publishing and don't like to end-up my skills with me. So I planned to work as a trainer in Exeter Premedia Services and it was not so successful. Finally, I received an opportunity as a dedicated trainer for all e-publishing process (PR, XML, HTML, QC, QA, Style Editing, Project Management and InDesign Composition) and it was a tremendous success. We have tried with 10 young aspirants. Now, they are best publishing professional with continual learning skill.Roles and Responsibilitiesa) Analyse the resource and identify the areas which requires improvement.(b) Create training plan and schedule for staff development program.(c) Mentoring to the process trainers for creating valuable resources(c) Define the process for new and existing customers to standardize the workflow and SOP. (d) Quality auditing.(e) Have to do feasibility study for new and existing customers to automate the process(f) Plan, schedule and monitor the process and quality for my team(g) Working as lead trainer for all the process including style and technical editing, composition, quality check and assurance and project management(h) To analyse the negative feedbacks for all the process and providing solution (Root Cause Analyses and CAPA creation)
