Utility Billing Solution is first Implemented by Ramco in UGU District Municipality. Being the first Implementation, there were challenges as any First Implementation with the commitment to go live in 3 months time.I have been the Lead Business analyst at onsite and Manager for support team at offshore during post Go-Live supportStudy of Municipal process and Tariff by analysing the process flow document for various departments and discussion with various departmentsRequirement Elicitation and Business process Mapping with Revenue Management system. Configuration of the application and demonstration of the application by conducting Closed Room Pilot session.Preparing Functional Requirement Specification Document for changes requested by customers and closely coordinating with business users and developers for arriving at a mutually acceptable solution.Managing UAT and application certification and implementing the application at the customer site.Training super users at the customer site, carrying impact analysis and implemented Change Requests.Coordination with the offshore team in the development of the project and coordinating with vendors of the client to develop the interfaces required for the project implementation.data extraction from legacy system and moving the same to target database; preparing data migration rules for data migration from legacy database.Municipality could reduce the lead time for New water connection due to various alerts and reports generated from system.Completed automated adjustment process is effectively utilized by Municiaplity which ensure better customer service and satisfaction.Development of various reports to support ledgers that are created based on the billing from Revenue Management solution to finance. UGU has got unqualified audit report for 5 years continuously.Project went live on short span of 3 months time and post- Go live support provided at site till April 2010

Ethekwini, Municipality of Durban and Ramco has Agreement and mutual interest to develop a product for Utility Billing,Service Provisioning,Credit control and Metering functions. Product is developed with the expertise of Ethekwini and Product development platform of Ramco. MMTC is one of the Largest ERP Implementation project for Ramco. MMTC went live on 2004 and AMC contract is signed with Ramco for ERP support and Maintenance. I have been the single point of contact for Ramco support.Primary task:Study of the customization for MMTC and taken over the support in shot span of time. Complete support of the Purchase,Sales and Distribution,inventory,Trade and General ledger modules.Analyzing the defects logged by customer, liaising with the customer for gathering additional information required for simulated of the issue.Travel to various site(Bellary,Delhi) to provide the additional training to the user and analysis of additional requirement by user.Managing UAT and application certification and implementation of the Change request at the customer site.Bank Guarantee for given by RAMCO to MMTC as part of requirement for project execution. The same has been renewed by RAMCO as insisted by MMTC for the 5 years. The application issues are addressed and the bank guarantee renewal has not been by RAMCO from 2005 onward.
