Having a strong career experience in a multinational organization with passion and appreciation for the importance of the role of a supply chain and vendor development manager. My strong motivation and passion for being involved in the supply chain management of an industry led me to reach a stage in my career as a Senior Engineer for Supplier performance (SPE) in Visteon Automotive ltd, a tier 1 supplier for the Ford Motor Company. Working at this organization as a SPE, my main roles included assessing new suppliers for their capability to support commodity, identifying high impact suppliers and evolving strategies to source high impact suppliers, facilitate and process audits and QoS review with tier 2 and tier 3 suppliers. I also evolved and deployed the Supplier reward program and my tasks extended to working with the purchasing department to effectively reduce cost incurred. For my three years at this role I was also in charge of the 8Ds for inspection and quality checks.My skills and talents grew tremendously in this field and was well noted by my peers and superiors which led me gain a huge boost in my career when I selected and invited to work at RENAULT India Pvt ltd. Within a short span of 14+ years, my skills and passion propelled me to the position of Assistant General Manager – Supply Chain Management (SCM) at Renault India Pvt ltd. My roles include selection of supplier sources in India for global sourcing to Renault plants while ensuring on-time deliveries to ensure the manufacturing plants’ demands. My cost reduction activities in the logistics was well received by my supervisors. I am also involved in handling and coordination for new vehicle projects and consumer vehicle production both nationally and internationally (was involved in vehicle launches at Indonesia and for renault launch in india for products form Korea and Turkey) . With a wide range of software expertise under my belt, I am sure my skills will not only be limited within my team but can assist my colleagues with-in the organization. My strong vendor development and SCM background in a multinational organization would allow me to provide necessary management skills that are required for the industry .
