About Senthilkumar Muthusamy
It is essential to uncover the molecular mechanisms that involved in gene regulation during heart failure to improve cell therapy. The focus of my research is to enhance the efficacy of cardiac mesenchymal cells by providing cellular niche in vitro and improve their differentiation potential using molecular and 3D-bioprinting based tissue engineering approach. Evaluating molecular signatures like microRNAs from failing heart, cardiac mesenchymal cells and their secretome are another focus.
