About Ruan Barbosa
I have gathered over 15 years of experience in SEO to create solutions and tools that assist B2C and B2B companies in organically and sustainably boosting their businesses.Ecto was born out of my entrepreneurial dream and the desire to make our clients’ products and services more easily discoverable by potential customers. With it, came my first SEO solution, an agency specialized in SEO with a management dashboard for SEO projects, carefully thought out and developed by our internal team.Locasty, initially, emerged from a need to automate tasks related to Local SEO for large networks. During my time as an analyst, I spent several hours of my day performing optimizations in Google My Business (Google My Business) due to limitations of the tool. After that, the tool evolved and developed as a tool for local marketing, not just for local SEO. And since this is a pain point not only in our operations, I decided to transform the automations we had made into a SaaS product that connects with the official Google Business Profile API to help more companies with operational pains as well as visibility of local action data.SEOdex connects with my academic area, education. At the beginning of my career, I aimed to become a university professor. First, I completed a bachelor's degree in Physics, and then I pursued a Master's in Education, with digital educational materials being the focus of my thesis. This educational aspect was something I missed during my entrepreneurial phase. Attempting to connect these areas, SEOdex was born, an SEO community for knowledge sharing, and also a platform with SEO tools.And with our solutions, today we serve clients such as: Lojas Marisa, Alura, Farmácias Nissei, Payoneer, Postos Ipiranga, AMARO, mmartan, ARTEX, Santista and KarHub.This is a summary of the fronts I have been operating within the universe of SEO, data, local marketing, and digital marketing education.
