Every brand has a story behind it—just as every person does. My story began in a very non-traditional way, to say the least, but it's still my journey and without it, I wouldn't be where I am today. From early on, I was a highly inquisitive, eager-to-learn being trying to make sense of it all, while adding my own tweaks of style & beauty to everything I came across. I guess you can say this helped guide me towards what truly makes me happy—design. I started out as a content writer and during this time, I got to work with various developers and marketers that helped me hone my talents. They taught me most of what I know about SEO, marketing, content strategy, consumer awareness, and web design. Over time, I broadened what I knew about website design alongside these influencers all while giving customers the voice behind the brand via content writing. Eventually, the time came where I was able to not only provide that voice but also create a true identity for the brand with a captivating website. I like to think of myself as the conduit between brand and consumer, a brand ambassador if you will. Currently, I am a freelance web designer and content strategist. I have over 7 years of experience in the industry and have collectively written over a million words for my client's blogs, websites, published materials, advertisements, etc as well as produced hundreds of beautiful websites for happy customers across the nation. My specialties include website design, content development, digital media, and brand awareness. I speak Mac & Linux and use various tools of the trade such as Photoshop, InDesign, Etc. I can build on the WordPress platform as well as Shopify, Squarespace, Wix, Weebly, among many others. Just because you don't see the platform doesn't mean I haven't dabbled in it.
