This Committee reviews all FSB procedures and drafts new procedures, as well as overseeing the election process. We work between the Board of Directors, National Council of Members, and Members for the good of the FSB. Re-working the Manual of Standards Procedures into a Members handbook was one of the main objectives during my time on Procedures.

During my time I looked after the members of Chester and Wrexham and any issues they had.• Working with organisation like Glyndwr Universty, College Cambria, Chester Univesity and many other to build small business relationships.• Talking to the Media on local business issues for our members, such as the BBC and ITV.• Building partnerships to allow greater networking opportunities.

As I am passionate about young people in business, I got involved with FSB connect to help raise awareness around the issues young people face in business.FSB Connect was officially launched in November 2015 as a national initiative to strengthen our work with young business owners and to involve them in our work across the nation. Connect as a distinct project has served its purpose which was to raise awareness and spur change in FSB. Success of the project• Set a network of connects across the UK in 33 regions. Where some regions having teams of young people working on Connect events.• 20+ events• 1200+ attendees

When we started the idea for Digital Futures, our aim was simple; To upskill the local business community in Digital Marketing. I am passionate about Digital Marketing and helping other businesses as we believed it is the future for local small businesses. The event was a great success, with 500 people in attendance (400 students from colleges /universities across the region, and 100 businesses!).
